The Old Stone Inn first opened to guests in July of 1946 and has been in continuous operation ever since. Located just a short walk from downtown Waynesville, North Carolina the Inn is situated on 6-1/2 wooded acres. Tucked away in a forest of stately oaks, rhododendron and mountain laurel the property roots you and a sense of calm and peacefulness captivates you. Our rooms are comfortable and cozy and the food in our restaurant is unsurpassed. You have arrived at a true mountain lodge.
The Inn's seven buildings contain 18 guest rooms plus a full-service bar and our award-winning restaurant. A full, hot breakfast is included with your room and dinner is available Monday through Saturday nights.
